Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Staff Accountant to join our growing team and contribute to the company’s financial health and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- General Accounting:
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Assist in month-end and year-end close processes.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and payment processing.
- Address vendor and customer inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare accurate financial statements and reports.
- Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Compliance and Auditing:
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and company policies.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting functions.
- Other Duties:
- Provide support to the finance team and other departments as needed.
- Provide support in processing and managing contracts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience (experience in Finance is a plus).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. NetSuite) and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical mindset.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
